Manual Flatdeck Driver

Individual must demonstrate attention to detail, thorough knowledge of truck safety, dedication to exceptional customer service, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintain a positive public image of the company with appropriate personal conduct and by operating company vehicles and equipment in a safe, professional, and courteous manner
• Create a positive and rewarding customer experience
• Participate in loading delivery trucks and customers, as needed
• Deliver products in a safe and timely manner to scheduled customers
• Complete accurate delivery paperwork
• Complete daily vehicle inspection reports and complete driver logs
• Care for company vehicles and equipment to company standards, and complete daily maintenance, inspections, and cleaning
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times
• Participate and comply in Rockland’s Health and Safety program
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience operating a 5-tonne dump truck
• Class 3 and/or 1 driver's license
• Clean Driver's Abstract
• Strong knowledge for truck and equipment safety
• Knowledge of City of Edmonton and surrounding areas
• Neat appearance and attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• WHMIS certification

Pay + Benefits

• $25 - $30 per hour

Job Types:

Part-Time to Full-time Hours, Seasonal Position

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
