Individuals must demonstrate dedication to exceptional Customer Service and build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers by creating a welcoming environment with a memorable and rewarding customer experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Process sales transactions, in person or by phone
  • Maintain customer records and accounts
  • Greet all visitors with courtesy and respect
  • Create a positive and rewarding customer experience
  • Create and process orders and prepare deliveries
  • Work closely with the delivery team to ensure completion of scheduled deliveries
  • Assist with contractor accounts by creating detailed proposals/sales quotes
  • Check inventory to satisfy inventory requirements to contractor accounts
  • Answer customer inquiries by phone, email or text
  • Complying with health and safety as per company manual
  • Work seamlessly with alternate locations

Required Qualifications and Education

  • High School diploma and 1-2 years of administrative experience and/or retail sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Disciplined work ethic and positive attitude
  • Pleasant phone etiquette
  • Ability to work independently

Preferred Skills and Assets

  • Landscape product knowledge considered an asset
  • Disciplines work ethic and positive attitude
  • Basic to moderate math skill an asset

Tickets and Training

  • WHIMIS

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 5-7 months

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Shift:

  • 8 hour shift

Work days:

  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
