The Opportunity
The Guest Services teams at Servus Credit Union Place and Fountain Park Recreation Centre are seeking energetic, friendly, and motivated individuals for the role of Guest Service Representative 2. If you're passionate about customer service and thrive in a dynamic environment, this is a great opportunity to join our team.
As a Guest Service Representative, you will be responsible for assisting facility guests and members both in person and over the phone. This includes providing information about the facility, selling memberships and day passes, handling inquiries or directing customers to the appropriate department, managing program registrations, transfers, and cancellations, and distributing rental items. You will also process payments and balance transactions at the end of your shift. Additionally, you will assist in monitoring gym courts and support the set-up and takedown of drop-in programs and birthday parties.
We are looking for strong communicators who enjoy teamwork and can manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing excellent service.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 500 hours in the Guest Service Representatives 1 role or the equivalent of 1 year of full-time customer service experience.
- Previous experience providing customer service in a fast-paced environment, processing transactions and handling cash.
- Strong computer skills and comfort using Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience working in a recreation environment and familiarity with membership management software (Intellileisure) would be beneficial.
- Basis First Aid Certification is an asset.
Hours of Work
Approximately 10-15 hrs a week, shifts are generally between 4-7 hrs in length. We are seeking primarily evening and weekend availability.
Evening shifts can range in start time from 3:30pm - 5:45pm. and weekend hours vary between 6:30 a.m.– 9:30 p.m.
Servus Place Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday: 5:30 am – 9:30 pm.
Saturday/Sunday/Holidays: 6:30 am– 9:30pm
FOUNTAIN PARK Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday: 5:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Saturday: 6 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday: 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Holidays: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Compensation
$17.47 - $21.27 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
