NABI Board Director (Volunteer)

The Northern Alberta Business Incubator (NABI) is seeking applications for 5–6 new Directors to join its Board as part of ongoing board renewal. We are also seeking a candidate with strong financial expertise who may be positioned to assume the Treasurer role in the future. For over 30 years, NABI has supported startups and small businesses across Northern Alberta by providing incubation space, mentorship, and connections that help entrepreneurs connect, grow, and innovate. As NABI enters the next phase of its 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, we are looking for individuals who want to contribute to the governance and strategic direction of a community-driven organization supporting regional entrepreneurship. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in: - Treasurer-ready financial expertise (CPA or senior financial leadership preferred); - Finance and accounting experience to support the Finance Committee; - Property or asset management expertise; - Board governance experience; and - Demonstrated capacity to actively participate in Board and committee work. NABI Directors provide strategic oversight, ensure financial accountability, and help strengthen connections within the regional business and innovation ecosystem. Board service typically requires up to 10 hours per month, including Board and committee meetings.
