We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our standards and served promptly to our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen stations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and preparation.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar food service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
  • Passion for the culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills within the food industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.23-$18.00 per hour
