Full job description
Post Secondary student required to assist in Visitor Centre & Gift Shop from May 7 to August 27, 2025. Working Wednesday through Sunday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm with a 1/2 hour break.
As a Summer Customer Service Assistant (CSA), you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding customer support and enhancing the overall client experience.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, your core skills in communication, phone etiquette, and customer service will be essential in addressing inquiries and promoting sales.
Your proficiency in Point-of-Sale software, Word and Excel will enhance your service with our diverse clientele.
Working primarily in the Gift Shop/Visitor Centre and at St Albert Botanic Park, the CSA will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shop - greeting visitors; providing information on the park and gift shop; processing sales; managing merchandise including consignment sales; maintaining the appearance of the Gift Shop and patio areas and assisting with other responsibilities as required.
Horticultural/plant knowledge and volunteer experience would be and asset.
