Summary

We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our team at Best Western PLUS The Inn at St. Albert, a 90-room hotel. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service while maintaining the hotel's reputation as a top choice in the area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure optimal guest satisfaction.
• Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance hotel revenue and occupancy rates.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in hotel management, or a diploma in Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience as a Front Office Manager is a strong asset.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and develop budgets effectively.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
