This is a seasonal part-time position
The floral assistant reports to the Floral Manager and is vital to our lively Salisbury Floral Studio. If you love being around flowers, have a passion for floral design, and thrive in a creative environment, this role is perfect for you.
You'll be the flowering stem of our daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient studio functioning while brightening our customers' days with exceptional service. Your gentle touch will be instrumental in meticulously wrapping and packaging floral orders with finesse and managing the unpacking and organization of floral deliveries to maintain the freshness of our blooms for stunning arrangements. Your keen attention to detail will be evident as you assist in the preparation and execution of both on-site and off-site weddings, contributing to creating unforgettable moments for our clients on their special days.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Serving in-store customers and processing payments.
- Advising customers on the proper care and maintenance of their selected floral arrangements
- Putting together bouquets and floral arrangements
- Other duties as required
Other
- Assist with floral-related workshop prep
- Occasional delivery of floral products between the two Salisbury locations
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have 2 years of floral design experience
- Wedding Floral experience is considered an asset
- Sound knowledge of different flower types, arrangement styles, and flower conditioning.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Artistic and creative
- Team player
- Must be able to lift 25lbs
Schedule
- Open availability to work all shifts, day, evenings, and weekends
