Events Coordinator
The Events Coordinator plays an integral part in the planning and execution of all Chamber events. This position requires an individual who has a passion for event planning, creativity, attention to detail, immaculate record-keeping, and being a team player. There is a need for strong computer skills, knowledge of Teams, and a basic competency in accounting principles. The events coordinator requires strong skills in communication and the ability to develop relationships for a positive outcome.
The Events Coordinator is responsible to assist the Events Manager for the success and growth of all events managed by the St. Albert and District Chamber of Commerce including but not limited to:

This is achieved in the following ways:
-
Assisting in the organizing and development of Chamber events
-
Organizing and working with Chamber event committees
-
Coordinating volunteers for Chamber events as required
-
Invoicing members of all event related functions
-
Working with the Member Development & Sponsorship Coordinator in looking after and maintaining a positive relationship with the Event Sponsors

Working with Communications in creating promotional material for Events
-
Working with Communications Coordinator in social media campaigns and promotion of Chamber events through ChamberMaster, webpage, Facebook, Instagram, BlueSky, and Tik Tok accounts etc.

Creating and maintaining event records for each Chamber Event
-
Set up and maintain events through ChamberMaster
-
Promote community development through Chamber events
-
Communicate with Chamber members and the community at large
EDUCATION

Completed education in Event Planning is an asset.
