Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the curriculum program
- Prepare engaging and interactive lessons that promote student participation and critical thinking
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and respect
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance'
Experience:
Previous experience teaching mathematics, preferably in a classroom setting
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies for supporting students with diverse learning needs
- Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts, principles, and problem-solving techniques
- Proficiency in using technology to enhance instruction, such as computerized math programs or computer science applications
- Ability to effectively communicate complex mathematical concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Experience in providing individual or group tutoring to students who require additional support
Qualifications:
- Passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
- Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
