Treatment Coordinator

Job Summary
Dr. Kurt Popowich is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating exceptional patient experiences and helping people achieve their dream smile. This position requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of dental terminology, and the ability to work with treatment and financial payment plans. This is a permanent full-time position, 4 days a week with alternating Monday's and Friday's off.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new patients and families with a friendly and enthusiastic approach.
• Review the patients health and medical history and determine their goals for treatment.
• Assist in Orthodontic examination, entering data and notes from the Dr. and patient conversation.
• Maintaining accurate electronic dental records for all patients, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options, procedures, and any necessary pre- or post-treatment instructions.
• Work with patient and family to design financial payment plans.
• Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and address any concerns or questions that may arise.
• Generate correspondence.
• Follow up with patients who are ready to start treatment.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.

Experience

• Previous experience in Dental or Orthodontic office is required.
• Certified Dental Assisting is preferred.
• Experience as a Treatment Coordinator is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental software systems and the ability to quickly learn new software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients, families, and team members.
• Knowledge and understanding of oral treatment plans and the ability to educate patients.
