Job Summary:
As a Project Coordinator/Junior Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to advance their career in construction project management by gaining hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of construction projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Track and manage project budgets, change orders, and invoices.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Support tendering and procurement processes, including reviewing quotes and negotiating contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction project coordination or management (internship/co-op experience will be considered).
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and construction practices is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,834.69-$88,927.71 per year
