As our Social Media & Content Creator, you’ll be the mastermind behind our online presence, crafting content that captivates, converts, and connects with our audience. From designing high-impact graphics to shooting and editing dynamic videos, you’ll play a key role in shaping our brand’s digital voice.

Full or Part time hours depending on the candidate!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a member of the Customer Service Team by monitoring all External Affairs social media pages, platforms, and programs and performing required follow-ups and digital communications.
  • Preparing content for social media.
  • Editing before and after images for our platforms.
  • Monitoring, responding, and engaging on social media channels and External Affairs text messaging platforms.
  • Utilizing creativity in the workplace to develop new content for social media updates, campaigns, and programs.
  • Staying up-to-date with current culture, fashion, competitors, influencers, industry, and social media trends and incorporating this information into our communication strategies.
  • Assisting with compiling social monitoring reports and documentation as required.
  • Completing online community management activities: respond to customer questions, concerns, feedback, and reviews, remove comments and spam that violate our community page guidelines.
  • Actively monitoring social media based conversations via CRM tools and reporting feedback to appropriate departments.
  • Reporting to and working closely with the Marketing Director.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Degree or certificate in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline to the role from post-secondary education.
  • Strong customer service and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram, and using social media tools for business.
  • A high level of knowledge and comfort utilizing Word processing applications, Google Suite, and the ability to adapt to new programs in the workplace.
  • Experience with digital photography and photo editing software is an asset.
  • Experience with video production is an asset.
  • Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and critical thinking skills with the ability to work in an ever-evolving, fast-paced environment complemented by the

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
