We are currently recruiting for an energetic individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Associate. The ideal candidate has a passion for cleanliness, attention to detail, communication, and building relationships. This position offers 30-40 hours per week (4-5 days per week) and will primarily require weekday morning and some evening (close) shifts, as well as weekend shifts.

Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Lead and the Club Manager, Fitness, the Housekeeping Associate will work as part of a team to maintain and keep the Lounge, Studios, and the entire Club impressively organized, clean, and sanitized to meet SVAC standards and Club Member expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all regular cleaning schedules and duties (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly) throughout the entirety of the Club to the absolute best of your abilities.
- Gym Floor responsibilities include cleaning all gym equipment on a daily interval basis; keeping all cleansing wipes, paper towel, hand sanitizer and spray bottles full always; ensuring all equipment is returned and organized.
- Studio responsibilities include cleaning all treadmills, rowers, stationary bikes, Pilates reformers and portable equipment; washing TRX straps, yoga bolsters, foam rollers, and floors; moving items between the various studios as needed.
- Lounge responsibilities include performing clearing and cleaning of lounge tables and making ready for next guests; disinfecting and sanitizing sofas, chairs, and loveseats; keeping the counters and coffee/tea stations immaculate and, with assistance from Front Desk Staff, replenish coffee as needed.
- Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge and understanding of any equipment within the housekeeping department to ensure that they are used, maintained, and functioning properly.
- Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety practices as outlined during your training, and in accordance with industry standards. This includes but is not limited to the safe handling and usage of all cleaning chemicals, as well as any other items or tools that you may encounter.
- Familiarize yourself with the monthly fitness class schedule to successfully fulfill all sanitization duties as required.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock replenishment needs as required. Restock all locker room amenities as needed.
- Follow specific directions from the General Manager or other SVAC Managers to complete any special projects or other duties as assigned.
- Stay aware of all operations within the Club and keep yourself informed of services and upcoming events via in house and emailed communications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Prior work experience in a related housekeeping position is preferred
- Proficiency and experience in cleaning with extreme attention to detail
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Can work well alone and as part of a dynamic team
- Professional manner with a positive and friendly outlook
