Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Restoration Carpenter with at least 5+ years in restoration. The ideal candidate is skilled in drywall, painting, carpentry, general repairs, and water mitigation/demolition.
This role requires an independent, dependable professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting. On-call and overtime work are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform drywall installation, and painting with attention to detail.
- Handle carpentry tasks, including framing, trim work, and cabinetry repairs.
- Conduct water damage mitigation, demolition, and structural drying.
- Follow IICRC industry standards and company protocols.
- Monitor and document job site conditions and progress with daily reports.
- Work with project managers, subtrades, and team members to complete projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
- Communicate with customers to provide updates and explain restoration processes.
- Coordinate projects effectively, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of restoration and construction
- 5+ years of experience in restoration and skilled trades.
- IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician) and FSRT (Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician) certifications are an asset.
- Proficiency in drywall, painting, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Experience with water mitigation, demolition, and structural drying.
- Ability to read and interpret job scopes.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, independent, and team player.
- On-call and overtime availability required.
