AUTOMOTIVE SHOP SUPERVISOR

Ron Hodgson Chevrolet, located at the Gateway to St Albert, is a family owned dealership looking to add a working shop supervisor to our service department.

You bring a positive attitude and a strong work ethic to support our service technicians and act as a liaison between them, the advisors and the customers.

Duties include:

• Road testing and verifying customer concerns as well as verifying repairs.
• Following policies, procedures and guidelines as set out by General Motors and the dealership.
• Assisting the technicians with diagnosis or repairs where applicable.
• Ensure quality of work as well as productivity of the shop.
• Assess and manage shop comebacks for responsibility of repairs.
• Dealing with customer concerns and disputes where required.

What you bring:

• Automotive Trade Certificate.
• Minimum 10 years trade experience.
• Minimum 5 years current GM experience.
• Previous supervision &/or leadership experience.
• Attention to detail and a desire to provide an exceptional customer service experience.
• Valid Class 5 Alberta Drivers License.
• Proficient communication skills, both written and verbally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$108,000.00 per year
