During this workshop Presenter (and seasoned
storyteller) Corey Poirier will introduce the process of storytelling for business and personal success (including in-person, phone based and even social media based storytelling) – the benefit being improved word of mouth and closing ratios, more referrals, more profitable business, and dedicated followers.

Corey will cover:
 

• The 3 steps to discovering the heart of the story (whether personal or business focused) and crafting the story so that you can share it in the way that has the most impact
• Examples of business storytelling in action
• Why effective (real) stories move people into action quicker than talking features or data
• The emotional aspect of storytelling
• How the write story can allow a company leader to inspire their team in ways few other actions can
• The structure of a story you absolutely need to share, and the structure you don’t want to share
• The workshop in such a way that you will leave with a strategy for crafting your story in such a way that your listeners might just be glued on your every word going forward – he will also facilitate a break-out session to end the workshop so that everyone in the room has the experience of crafting a story from scratch
