the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy?
The federal government has announced the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy to assist employers who want to avoid laying off or re-hire staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The City of St. Albert's Economic Development department and the St. Albert and District Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a webinar, presented by Chantelle Brimmage owner of Get Balanced Professional Bookkeeping, on what the wage subsidy is and how to apply for it.
The webinar will answer questions on the subsidy, such as:
- Who is an eligible employer?
- When can businesses apply, expect to receive it, and how much?
- How do I apply?
- How do I re-hire workers who have been laid off?
Join us on Wednesday, April 29 from 1 to 2 p.m. The webinar is open to all St. Albert businesses with a current St. Albert business licence.
