About Us

Meet Cory & Carmal Huppie, the Owners of True North Heating and Cooling

Many years ago we realized that operating an hvac company that was more about the customer and less about the quota was a professional goal we shared. Fast forward 14 years, our post-secondary educations, a wedding, 1 child, 2 homes and some good old fashion life experience, True North Heating and Cooling Inc. was born in 2013. Thousands of furnaces and air conditioners and 2 St.Albert business award later, we are proud to be a modern day “mom and pop” operation. We choose to be a small business in order to have a strong pulse on quality control and as owners, we are involved in the day to day operations. We are strategic choosing our team, ethical in our actions and just simply love what we do.



Cory has attended both N.A.I.T and S.A.I.T polytechnic schools in Edmonton and Calgary.

Cory has been in the H.V.A.C industry since 2003. Residential, commercial and industrial H.V.A.C. His hands-on experience includes service, repair, maintenance and installations in all capacities from homes, schools, commercial office buildings, government structures and refineries.

Carmal attended Grant McEwan in Edmonton for business administration and management. Since 1999 her focus has been customer service, office management, procedure startup, human resources, marketing and core team building.
