Line Cook/Prep Cook

We are looking for Line Cooks to join our team! These are key positions within our organization. They play a critical role in providing excellent internal and external customer service. The position is very demanding, however, it is also very rewarding.

Specific Skills and Abilities:

Concise communication skills - both written and verbal

Fluent in English

Willing to work as an effective team member

Able to exhibit an energetic and enthusiastic attitude

Able to communicate pleasantly and professionally with the public, staff, and managers

Empathetic to diversities in people (e.g. English as a second language)

  • Able to learn and practice skills quickly
  • Developed organizational skills
  • Able to stay on feet and move quickly for extended periods
  • Able to bend and lift continually
  • Able to stay calm under pressure
  • Able to prioritize
  • Able to perform a repetitive job continuously
  • Able to follow recipes and picture books exactly
  • Able to cross-train and be versatile in all areas of the kitchen


  • Able to work late hours weekdays and weekends
  • Competent as a Restaurant cook


  • Experience working in a high-volume restaurant or bar preferred
  • Experience working under pressure
  • Experience working as a cooperative team member


  • Culinary arts is an asset
  • Food Safety Management an asset
  • Alberta Best Training and asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
