Workers Compensation Changes in Alberta
Presented By
The Government of Alberta recently passed the Ensuring Safety and Cutting Red Tape Act which amends the Workers Compensation Act. This session will provide you with an overview of two of the key changes relating to Egregious Conduct and Duty to Cooperate, and explain what these changes mean for Alberta Employers.
The Presenters
Erin Eden & Sanjeev Bhagrath
Sanjeev Bhagrath has been with WCB for 11 years and worked in various roles: Adjudication, Case Management, Claims Resource Team Case Manager, Visiting Specialist’s Clinic Coordinator and Industry Specialist. I have been an Industry Specialist for 4 years and work with the following Industries: municipalities, continuing care, oil and gas, airlines, Government of Alberta, Government of Canada, and universities.
Erin Eden has been with WCB for over 13 years and worked as an Case Assistant, Adjudicator, Case Manager, and Industry Specialist. I have been an Industry Specialist for 8 years and work with the following Industries: Covenant Health, forestry, industrial construction, roadbuilders and school boards.
