This ceremony allows a unit to march through the city to recognize links between a community and a particular military unit.  A Freedom of the City Parade includes an official ceremony where the Mayor of a City  and the Commanding Officer of the honoured Unit or Regiment re-enacts the historic rite of allowing a formed military unit to march through a city with "Drums Beating\, Bayonets Fixed and Colours Flying". \n\n	\n\n	St. Albert will be hosting the Freedom of the City celebration and parade on June 11\,2011.
