DESCRIPTION:2019 Gingerbread house Contest\n\n\n\nThe 7th Annual Gingerbread Building Competition is a fan favorite at the Snowflake Festival\, and a great way for you and your co-workers to get into the holiday spirit\; entering is easy!\n\n\n\nThere is no cost\, just bring your imagination\, enthusiasm and Christmas Spirit!\n\n\n\nTo reserve a spot in this year's contest\, please register by Monday\, November 20th.  (email events@stalbertchamber.com) \n\n\n\nThe rules for this year's competition are as follows: \n\n\n\n1.  Dimension restrictions: the base (what you build your gingerbread creation on\; not the actual gingerbread creation) must be no larger than 2 feet by 2 feet\; no height restriction.\n\n \n\n2.  You can use both edible and non-edible items\, the house/structure portion needs to be actual baked gingerbread (however\, you can use cardboard or other materials as a base structure to mount your gingerbread creation on).\n\n \n\n3. Your creation must be in the lobby of St. Albert Place (5 St. Anne Street) on Friday\, Nov. 22th between 3:00 and 4:30 pm. Be sure to have a small tent card included with your creation\, indicating your business as the creator.\n\n\n\n4. All the gingerbread buildings will be a part of "Gingerbread Lane" inside St. Albert Place\, and the public will be voting on the top 3 gingerbread creations the night of the Snowflake Festival. The top 3 Winners will then go on display in St. Albert Place until December 1st.
